Booth Sr., Buddy Lew, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2011, at the age of 74 years. Buddy was born December 12, 1936, in Saginaw, the son of the late Emma (McFall) and Lew V. Booth. He had been employed by Michigan Sugar and later by Conley’s Security. He married Charlotte M. Livingston on September 16, 1961; she survives him. He also leaves two daughters and three sons, Frieda (Rob) Creighton, Buddy L. Booth, Jr. (Mary), Troy (Pauline) Booth, and Dean Booth, all of Saginaw; and Rebecca (Roger) Nowaczyk, Oakley; ten grandchildren, Alissa, Candi, Kaitlyn, Andrue, Charissa, Stormy, Skyler, Michael, Ashley and Rebecca; five great-grandchildren, Devin, Herman, Robbie, Anthony and Amarianna; a special sister-in-law, Edith Meyers, who helped care for him; many nieces, nephews and their families; and a special friend, Michael Myers. He was predeceased by one sister, Edith Bierd, and by three brothers, Junior, Robert and Bernard Booth. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams St., where his family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, and then on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Ted Dolittle will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family’s wishes.
