Blehm, Harold (Harry), Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011. Age 90 years. Son of the late David and Anna Elizabeth (Spaeth) Blehm, Harold was born January 18, 1921 in Gilford, Michigan. He married Ruth E. Truckner on October 14, 1944. She survives him. Harold was employed at Helfrecht Machine Co. as a machine repairman for 20 years, at General Motors for 20 years and was a member of U.A.W. Local #467. He attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Harold was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed golfing, traveling and bowling. Surviving besides his wife Ruth are two daughters and their spouses, Joan and Gerald Langenegger, Clearlake, California; Carol and Terry Henkel, Saginaw; four grandchildren, David S. and Cindi Galonska, Meri Raterink, Terry Henkel Jr., all of Saginaw and Renee Hussar, Sacramento, Cailfornia; a special nephew and niece, Bob and Sue Barowski; a special friend, Greg Powell. Harold was preceded in death by his step son, David P. Galonska and 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor David Birnbaum will officiate with private burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
