Beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 28, 2011, at his home. Age 56 years. He was born January 15, 1955 in Tawas City, graduating from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1973. He served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He owned Bodrie’s Used Cars. Surviving are his son, Michael T. Ball; his daughter, Aliyah Ball; his mother, Donna H. Jordan; three sisters, three brothers, and their spouses, Vicky Smyth-Wintermeyer, Therese (Ronald) Mochty, Douglas (Cheryl) Ball, Joseph (Dana) Ball, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Patton, Scott (Deborah Davison-Ball) Ball; a sister-in-law, Karen Ball; nieces and nephews, Dawn Boyle, Kathleen Smyth, Matthew Wintermeyer, Anthony Allison, Amber Allison, Rebecca Ball, Hannah Ball, Erik Ball, Stephen Ball, Jessica Valazza, Alyson Valazza, Lester Ball, Shelby Ball, Joseph Ball, Jordan Patton, Morgan Patton, Lindsay Patton, Taylor Davison; aunts and uncles, Brian, Carl, Richard, John, Dale Thomas, William and Jim Kirchner, Monnie Kernstock, Judith Ann Lindberg, and Margie West, and their families. He was predeceased by his father, Lester J. Ball, step-mother, Mary Ball, and a brother, Christopher Ball. Memorial services will take place on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where his family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of service.
