Bain, Lucille F., Freeland, Michigan

Passed away early morning Thursday December 22, 2011 at HealthSource-Saginaw after a lengthy illness at the age of 81 years. Lucille was born January 29, 1930 in Saginaw, MI to the late Henry and Marie (Albrecht) Sullivan and has resided in this area all of her life. Lucille was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Freeland and was active in the St. Agnes Altar Society. Lucille loved working with ceramics, enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and friends. On February 4, 1950 Lucille married William J. Bain; he predeceased her on June 2, 2011. Lucille is survived by five children; Michael (Mary) Bain of Freeland, Patricia (Mike) Pyne of Appleton, WI, Janet (Dennis) Hindson of Fairborn, OH, William Bain of Cleveland, OH and Robert (Lisa) Bain of Freeland. Fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a brother; James (Jackie) Sullivan of Saginaw and a sister; Dorothy Dengler of Saginaw also survive Lucille. Two brothers; Edward Sullivan, Richard Sullivan and a daughter-in-law; Janet Bain have predeceased Lucille. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Freeland. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with burial to follow in LaPorte Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, 310 E. Washington St., Freeland on Monday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and then at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
