Albaugh, Lucille (Robinson), Merrill, Michigan

Passed away at Covenant Cooper Hospital on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the age of 93 years. Lucille McClung was born July 5, 1917, in Walton, West Virginia, to the late John and Alice McClung. She married Burl Robinson and he predeceased her in 1984. She then married Ralph Albaugh and he predeceased her in 2001. Lucille was a lifelong member of the Merrill Congregational Church, had been employed by the Merrill School system for 10 years, and enjoyed playing Canasta. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lucille is survived by three daughters and a son, Cathy Evitts, Linda (Max) Johnson, Leah (Henry) Glazier, all of Merrill, and Burl (Donna) Robinson, of St. Louis, MI; two daughters-in-law, Joy Robinson of Minnesota and Fern Robinson of Florida; a step-daughter, Becky Wallace of West Virginia; 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Naomi Robinson of West Virginia; and a special niece, Anne (Richard) Hubbard of West Virginia. She was predeceased by three sons, Paul Edward Robinson, Charles Robinson, and Richard Robinson; a grandson, Cory Stadler; and a great-grandson, Dakota Glazier. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the W.L. Case & Company Merrill Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Road, Merrill, MI. Rev. Richard Gossett will officiate with burial in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge. Friends may call at the Merrill Chapel on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from noon until the time of service. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy may consider either the Merrill Congregational Church or the Jonesfield-Lakefield Township Fire Department.
