Woolever, Marion D., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed in to the arms of our Lord on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the age of 83 years. Marion Dorothy Hiles was born April 25, 1926, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Bertram and Katherine (Brown) Hiles, moving to Saginaw as a young child. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1944. She married James C. Woolever on August 17, 1946; he predeceased her on December 17, 1996. She had been employed by Second National Bank for over 30 years, retiring as branch manager in 1981. Marion and Jim retired to Luzerne at that time. She was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter #113, O.E. S., the Daughters of the Nile, and of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are three daughters, one son, and their families; one sister, Georgia Spindler, St. Louis, MI; and her best friend, Ty. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one granddaughter, one grandson and by three brothers. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams St., where her family will receive friends from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and then on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Dan Miller will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
