Beloved sister and aunt passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 93 years. Daughter of the late Anthony and Eleanor ( Podlewski) Jaski, Kazimiera was born September 19, 1916 in Jamaica, New York. She was married to Alton Wittenberg in 1945. He predeceased her in 1999. Kay was the owner and operator of the Corner Cafe in Marion, Michigan and loved to bake and was known for her famous pies. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Marion, Michigan. Kay especially loved her family. Surviving are one sister, Berneice Plambek, Saginaw and several nieces and nephews. Kay was preceded by one sister, Jessie J. Burba and two brothers, Stephen and Walter Jaski. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
