Beloved husband and father passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Mary ’s of Michigan Hospital. Age 70 years. Son of the late Forest and Dorothy (Scott) Wiles, James was born September 14, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan. James was a 1959 graduate of Evart High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. James married Janis Ann Coyle on August 19, 1972. She survives him. He worked many years as a machine builder. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #4232. He was a very skilled craftsman and used his talents generously to benefit others. Surviving besides his wife Janis is one son, Jeffrey Wiles, Saginaw; one sister, Janet S. (Orville) Reno, Bay City; and many loving family members. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center and staff for the loving and compassionate care they showed to James during his stay there. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. James R. Carlson will officiate with entombment in St. Andrew Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral Home.
