Passed away suddenly at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 with her husband by her side. Age 38 years. She was born on November 2, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan to Tom and Arlene O’Toole, both of whom preceded her in death. Lisa attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Grade School in Saginaw and graduated from Heritage High School in Saginaw in 1990. In 1994, Lisa received her college degree in Exercise Science and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan where she met the love of her life, Christopher Michael Thompson. Lisa married Chris on May 13, 1995 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky and opened Mancino’s Grinders and Pizza in 1996. Together they built a very successful business. They welcomed two beautiful daughters into their lives. Lisa devoted her life to raising Mackenna Jo, 11, and Riley O’Toole, 8. They were very close and will miss their mother dearly. Lisa was very involved in her daughter’s school, St. Joseph Catholic School. She volunteered in their classrooms as a room mom and loved being with the girls and their friends whenever possible. She was a devoted soccer fan and coach for Mackenna and Riley’s teams. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Lisa was proud and passionate about decorating her family’s home. She loved boating with family and friends in Kentucky every chance they got. She also loved camping in Port Austin, Michigan on Lake Huron with her family. Lisa, Chris, Mackenna and Riley spent countless hours in Northern Michigan near Traverse City on the beaches of Lake Michigan with family and friends. Those were the moments Lisa looked forward to every summer. Her lively spirit will especially be remembered at the Fourth of July celebrations. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved the warm weather. Lisa was also a proud co-owner of Image Ink Screen Printing & Embroidery and for the last six months was excited about going back to work as a very talented embroidery specialist. She took a lot of pride in her work. She was also co-owner of Greenwood Mancino’s. Surviving besides her husband Christopher are two daughters, Mackenna Jo and Riley Thompson, all of Bowling Green, Kentucky; a brother, Michael John O’ Toole, (Julie, Cameron and Micah Watters), Saginaw; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Marcia Thompson, Thompsonville, Michigan; sister-in-law, Samantha, husband John, three nephews, Bailey, Brett and Ryan Biwer, Eau Calire, Wisconsin; maternal grandparents, Jack and Verna Kilbourn, Midland; many aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Jose Parra will officiate with interment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), in Saginaw, where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until time of Mass.
