Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Englewood Community Hospital, Englewood, Florida. Age 80 years. The son of the late John and Viola (Tomkowak) Schultz, Robert was born June 20, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Marie E. Krzeszewski on May 8, 1948. She survives him. Robert was employed as an electrician at General Motors, retiring in 1988 and was a member of U.A.W. Local #699. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch where he served as an usher. Robert was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council #2022 and past member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church in Saginaw, Michigan. He enjoyed giving a helping hand to anyone. Surviving besides his wife Marie are two sons and their spouses, Michael D. and Kathleen Schultz, Saginaw; Mark R. and Donna Schultz, Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Sarah (Shawn) Selasky, Theresa (Jason) Jaime, Laura (David) Duford, Leann, Hope and Faith Schultz; four great-grandchildren, Logan and Nolan Selasky, Emerson Jaime and David Duford; also surviving are two sisters, Bernice Barnes and Catherine Maciejewski; one brother, John and Irene Schultz; several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Michael Schultz, and by two sisters and four brothers. Honoring Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 469 Shattuck Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate. A private burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch, Michigan. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
