Rose, Mary Ann, Bridgeport, Michigan

Loving mother, grandmother, and friend passed away Friday, March 19, 2010, at Saginaw Senior Care. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Peter and Mary Ann (Was) Dudek was born February 5, 1919, in Fosters, Michigan. She married Charles L. Rose II. in 1942. He passed away in 1984. She was employed in the defense effort during WWII and later as a beautician and housekeeper. She was an active member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, a member of the Marian Society,a Secular Franciscan, and the League of Catholic Women. She loved gardening, traveling, and her family. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Charles L. and Shirley Rose, Bridgeport, MI; Richard D. and Karen Rose, Onsted, MI; a granddaughter, Christin E. Rose, Baltimore, MD; several nieces and nephews. Three brothers, one sisters, Stephen Dudek, Alex Dudek, Lottie Buss and Casmir Dudek have predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 7877 Bell Road, Bridgeport, MI. with burial in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 5700 Dixie Hwy. from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Monday where they will meet at 7:00 p.m. for a Vigil service. Friends may then call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral service.
