Richard, Sally Jean, Saginaw, Michigan

Barbara P. Frost

Sally was at home, surrounded by her family, when she lost her courageous five-year battle with cancer on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Sally was born in Saginaw, MI on August 19, 1950 to William and Virginia (Hansen) Fischer, they predecease her. She was happily married to Fred Richard on September 11, 2004, he survives her. Sally was a wonderful nurse and spent her career caring for patients at St. Luke’s/Covenant Hospital. Sally loved cycling, camping, sewing, books, and most of all, her family. She was the best sister, ever! Sally leaves behind, but will forever remain in the hearts of her devoted husband, Fred; her loving children Erin (Bill) Davis, Farmington Hills; Michael Cramton (Rachel Deatrick), Saginaw; Scott Cramton, Saginaw; her very much loved grandchildren Elle, Carly, and Abby Davis, Rowan Cramton, Jacob and Jenna Zettle, and Alex LeBourdais; her former husband, Steve Cramton, Midland; her two step daughters Lori (Jim) LeBourdais, Royal Oak; and Sherryl (Jeff) Zettle, Bay City; her brother Mark (Nancy) Fischer, Lewiston, MT; and her favorite sister Gail Pelkey (Donn Cramton), Bay City. She will also be missed by her loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and her many friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Sally’s life at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, 121 Harrison St., Saginaw. Dr. Robert Emrich will officiate. Friends are encouraged to come and share their happy memories and stories of Sally at W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Sunday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a contribution to the American Cancer Society or to the Memorial Fund celebrating Sally’s love of cycling.
