Passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at his home. Age 63 years. Saul J. Mora was born on March 19, 1947 to the late Barnabe and Nicanora Mora. He was married to Dolores Lugo on July 7, 1967 in Saginaw. She survives him. Saul had been employed by General Motors Company at Delco Marine until his retirement. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Saul loved fishing and gardening. He enjoyed helping people and making them laugh. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Kent) Mora-Jackson and Kim (Edward) Belfort; two grandsons, Elijah and Noah Belfort; a brother, Reuben (Virginia) Mora; five sisters, Amelia (Efrim) Balderas, Lydia (Manuel) Hernandez, Mary Helen (Fidel) Ramierez, Eloisa (Jesse) Rendon, and Ruth (Colin) Weber; a sister-in-law, Sarah Garcia and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are a group of friends who loved, cared, and appreciated his friendship in return. Saul was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Garcia, Alfred Garcia, Antonio Garcia, Antonio (Deco) Garcia; two sisters, Eva (Manuel) Gamboa and Naomi Rodriguez; an aunt, Hortensia Garcia and a granddaughter, Lauren Jackson. According to Saul wishes, cremation has taken place. Saul’s Funeral Liturgy will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at S.S. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 2396 S. Outer Drive. Rev. John Mancini, OSFS will officiate. Friends may call at S.S. Simon and Jude on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
