Lutynski, Mary V., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved aunt passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Bay Medical Center. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late John and Katherine (Bolsynga) Szczypka, Mary was born November 15, 1919 in Pinconning, Michigan. She married John J. Lutynski on April 26, 1947. He predeceased her January 20, 1996. Mary was employed at the Ben Franklin Stores in Bay City and Saginaw for 25 years until her retirement in 1965. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and its Altar Society, the League of Catholic Women, Legion of Mary and U.A.W. Local #699 Retirees. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Dolores Janer of Milford, who had taken special care of Mary; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law including Gerry Lutenski of Bay City and Val Szczypka of Saginaw; many great-nieces and great-nephews. Mary was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Czuba and Victoria Szczpanik, and four brothers, Steve, Joseph, August and Walter Szczypka. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Reginaldo Salcedo will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
