Laubhan, Rose Clara, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She was 89 years old. Rose Benkert was born September 14, 1921 in Swan Creek to the late Leonard and Rose (Frasle) Benkert. She was married to Edward Laubhan on June 4, 1949 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2007. Rose was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rose is survived by three children: Timothy (Tami) Laubhan, Daniel (Kathy) Laubhan and Tina (Jack) Boening; six grandchildren: April Pakenham, Jeffrey, Ryan and Kevin Laubhan, Allison and Sarah Boening; one great granddaughter:Briana Pakenham. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Leonard and Robert Benkert; four sisters: Eleanor Johnson, Clara Couter, Cecilia Wenzel and Julia Wurtzel. Roses’ Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. William R. Taylor will officiate with burial to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State) on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
