Lagalo, Clement August, Carrollton, Michigan

Passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 at home due to a lengthy illness. He was 67 years old. Clement A. Lagalo was born July 26, 1942 to the late John and Pauline Napolitano. He was married to Carol Ann Pryor on April 27, 1963 in Saginaw, she survives him. Clem was a veteran of the Naval Reserve. He was also employed by Kroger on Gratiot in Saginaw for 17 years before retiring. Clem was a lifetime member of the Carrollton Athletic Association and involved with a variety of athletic programs. As a coach, he influenced and touched the lives of many. He especially enjoyed managing and coaching Knothole baseball. Clem’s greatest joy was his wife, children and grandchild whom he loved and cherished. Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Carol; his two children, Scott Lagalo and Kari (Ken) Schutt; his granddaughter, Sammy Lou: two brothers and a sister, Phil and Gary (Rose) Lagalo and Marie (Rich) Papasso, plus many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his good friend, Jim Doran. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road. Pastor Don Dinninger will officiate. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State) on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. service.
