Kreh, Valeria, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010. Age 87 years. The fourth child of the late Joseph and Josephine (Slawinski) Antoniewski, Valeria was born July 3, 1922 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Kenneth A. Kreh on January 31, 1942. He predeceased her October 29, 1977. Val was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She loved playing cards, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Val was a dedicated homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She had many friends and extended family.  Surviving are four sons, William J. and Bonnie Kreh, Bay City; Gary M. and Bonnie Kreh, Saginaw; James J. Kreh, Saginaw; Kenneth P. and Helen Kreh, Traverse City; a daughter-in-law, Dianne Kreh, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Tara (Roger) Boyer, Kristian (Emily), Kyle, Katherine, Colin, Courtney, Dominic (Michaela), Benjamin (Julie), Sarah Kreh and Ryan Kaiser; five great-grandchildren, Colton, Brady, Desmond, Krystian and Sloane; two sisters, Toni Bird, Florida; Pat (Bob) Taylor, Saginaw; a devoted friend and companion, Kenneth W. Klink, Hemlock; many nieces and nephews. Val was preceded in death by a son, Gregory J. Kreh, two sisters and one brother Helen Reisig, Angeline Allison and Stanley Anthony.  Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John Johnson will officiate with interment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service 5:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
