Jolin R.N., Janet A., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife and mother passed away suddenly Sunday, February 14, 2010. Age 64 years. The daughter of the late Clarence and Florence (Visniewski) Truskoski, Janet was born November 3, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Russell E. Jolin, her loving husband of 42 years, on August 5, 1967. He survives her. Janet was proud to have earned her degree as a Registered Nurse from Delta College in 1994. While there, she twice earned the Alfred J. Bledecki Scholarship, awarded to students of Polish descent. She loved working with the elderly and was employed at several local nursing homes. Janet enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family.  Surviving besides her husband Russell are one son, Marc Jolin, Saginaw; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Chris Jolin, Saginaw; Marsha Jolin, Saginaw; Maxine McKeown, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends and extended family including John Griffith. Janet was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lori Amber Jolin, and by a brother, Gary Truskoski.  Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate with interment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
