Holliday, Betty Jean, Harrison, Michigan

Passed away Monday, May 10, 2010, at her home following a battle with cancer. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late Amos and Dorothy Thurston was born October 2, 1932 in Midland, Michigan. She married William Holliday, February 17, 1951. He survives her. She was an active volunteer with the Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency and the March of Dimes. She enjoyed camping, scratching off lottery tickets, gardening, word search books, NASCAR and game shows. Surviving besides her husband, William, are four daughters, two sons and their spouses, Carol Raabe and Paul, Saginaw, MI; Janet Walat, Harrison, MI; Richard and Linda Holliday; Debra Holliday, all of Midland, MI; Joe and Linda Holliday, St. Charles, MI; Patty and Dan Little, Harrison, MI; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, one sister and their spouses, Herman and Norma Thurston; Elmer and Grace Thurston; Blanche and Edward Holliday; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, William Holliday, three brothers, two sisters, William, James, Robert, Margaret and Lydia. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev.
