Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Covenant HealthCare Harrison Campus. Age 95 years. Daughter of the late Henry and Genevieve (Rose) LaFlure, Myrtle was born September 3, 1915 in Midland, Michigan. She married Anthony Grammatico on June 12, 1950. He predeceased her July 14, 1997. She had been employed as a waitress in Old City of Saginaw. Myrtle was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and League of Catholic Women. She enjoyed crafting and attended many bazaars. Surviving are four daughters, one son and their spouses, Shirley Salas, Bay City; Donald and Maxine Barton, Freeland; Gerry Boshaw, Saginaw; Barbara Barton, Houghton Lake; Susan K. and Michael Scott, Freeland; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Myrtle was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, Ruth Hintz, Merle Draves, Ruby LaFleur, Ray and Gerald LaFlure and a son-in-law, Franklin Salas. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Emmett Marceau will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
