Gaiser, Verna V. (Ginnie), Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away suddenly Thursday, July 1, 2010. Age 84 years. The daughter of the late Lavern and Bertha (Knights) Hall, Ginnie was born July 28, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Vernard C. (Gene) Gaiser on December 14, 1946. He predeceased her April 24, 2002. Ginnie was a member of St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church. She was employed at Ray’s Food Fair for several years. Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Cheryl and David Dogger; Kathy and Don Coleman, all of Saginaw; two grandchildren, Craig (Lucinda) Dogger, Kristin and Matthew Starke; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Christopher, Jacob and Kate; three sisters, Rebecca Faust, Ethel Barden and Ann Hall; many nieces and nephews. Ginnie was preceded in death by four brothers, Del, Dent, Russell and Jim Hall, and by a stepbrother, Ernie Averill. Honoring Mrs. Gaiser’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 12:00 noon Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, 5501 Gratiot Road in Saginaw. Rev. Mark Lindloff will officiate. Friends may call at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
