Gagnon, Mary Georgia, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away at her home. She was 85 years old. Mary G. Miklosovic was born on January 25, 1925, in Butler Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Helen (Simoneic) Miklosovic. She married Jerome J. Gagnon on April 22, 1944 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on October 10, 1994. Mary was employed by Consumers Power as a customer service representative, retiring in 1988 after 20 years of service. She was a beloved and wonderful mother and grandmother. Mary loved knitting, especially afghans. She also loved to travel and playing cards. Surviving are a daughter, Helen Ann (Warren) Darby; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Gagnon; seven grandchildren: Shaun (Brian) Most, Chad (Jody) Darby, Jerome Gagnon, III, Drue (Kristine) Darby, Jeffrey Gagnon, Brandon Gagnon and Kelsey Gagnon; seven great granddaughters; one great-great granddaughter; six siblings: Irene (Robert) Dowis, Anne Bowerman, Helen (Fred) Adams, Elinor (John) Rudy, Frank (Becky) Miklosovic, and Robert (Virginia) Miklosovic. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and special friends at Carrollton Village. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerome J. Gagnon, II; and a sister, Francis Beauregard. Mary’s funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State). Sr. Christine Gretka, CSJ will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
