Duranso Jr., Joseph Stanley, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010, at Select Specialty Care.  Age 61 years.  The son of the late Edith (Hunn) and Joseph Stanley Duranso Sr. was born  May 21, 1948 in Albion, New York.   He was employed by General Motors, retiring do to disability with twenty-five years of service.  He enjoyed hunting, classic cars, Harley-Davison motorcycles and Citizen’s Band radios where he went by the handle: WD-40.  Surviving are a son,  Michael Froum; three grandchildren, Ashley, Paige and Hunter; two  brothers, two sisters and their spouses, Jackie Duranso; Dolores and Lawrence VanBuren; Jonathan F. and Carolyn Duranso; Cora and Matthew Rosebrock; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; his special friend, Linda Froum.  Mr. Duranso’s family wish to thank his special friend and caregiver, Nancy Ponce.  He was predeceased by a son, Joseph, two brothers and one sister, James, Gerald and Shirley.  The funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Road. Chaplain Carol Weslock will officiate.
