Passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the Bay Ridge Memory Care in Traverse City; she was 87 years old. Nancy Faulman was born on September 23, 1922 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late William M. and Nina (Cosendai) Faulman. She married Bernard Dubay on July 15, 1943 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on January 1, 2004. Nancy was employed by Jacobson’s Department Store as a floor supervisor and worked in the children’s department until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Florida. Nancy was also a member of Germania Town and Country Club, as well as the Saginaw Country Club. She loved to golf, play bridge and travel. Surviving are two daughters: Penny (John) Young of Traverse City, MI; Margo (Tom) Russell of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; four granddaughters; Amy (Tom) Carlson of Allendale, MI, Keri (David) Rutland of Leland, NC, Julie (Joe) Kemble of Thompsons Station, TN and Jodi (Kennrick) Smith of Schnecksville, PA; and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Marge Dubay, Helen Faulman; special cousins; Judy (Faulman) Morse and Dianne (Faulman) Wilson. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Faulman and a brother-in-law Donald Dubay. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bay Ridge Memory Care and the caregivers of Traverse City Hospice of Michigan. Nancy’s Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road. Rev. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State) on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass.
