She was married to Hans Frank, who was listed as MIA in WWII and was blessed with four children. On January 5, 1955 she was married to Gerald David, moved to Freeland Michigan and was blessed with three more children. Emma taught Sunday school at Dice Wesleyan Church for 20 years and the church was her favorite place to be. She enjoyed making cross-stitched baby blankets, flowers and especially spending time with her family.  Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Rainer and Mary Jane David, Wolfgang and Marcia David, Melitta David, Pam Dashner, Gerald and Lorie David, Jim David; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
