Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and aunt passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, at the age of 82 years. Lilah Mae Pierce was born December 9, 1927 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Albert S. and Ruby A. (Palmer) Pierce. She married Harry Robert Collver on June 9, 1945; he predeceased her November 3, 1984. Together, they had eight children: Beverly, Peggy, Robert, Linda, Charlene, Ruth, Laura and Paula. Lilah devoted herself to her children, and all of her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling. She also enjoyed Bingo and going to the casinos. Surviving are seven children and their spouses, Beverly and Garry Talmadge, Peggy and Mike Mize, Robert Colver, Linda and Ken Edmanson, Charlene todd, Ruth and Joseph Hudeck, Jr., and Paula Wright. Another daughter, Laura Zoellner, passed away this past March 8, 2010. She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her husband, parents and daughter, she was predeceased by a great-granddaughter and by many brothers and sisters. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams St., where her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and then on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Jerry Schalau will officiate the funeral with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
