Blaine, Kathryn M., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010, at home after a lengthy illness. Age 87 years. Kathryn M. Wright was born November 21, 1922 in Laurium, Michigan, the daughter of the late Robert A. and Louise (Croll) Wright. She graduated from Saginaw High School. She had been employed by Western Union for nearly 30 years. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Charles. She married James Blaine Jr. on September 13, 1953; he predeceased her December 5, 1981. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kim Blaine, with whom she made her home; four grandchildren, Tiffany Blaine, Robert (Shantell) Foley, Nikole Miller and Anthony Miller; two great-grandchildren, Aleena and Robert Foley; one brother, Robert (Ruth) Wright; one half-brother and three half-sisters; many nieces, nephews, and their families; and many dear friends. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Mark Matthew Blaine, and by several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the W. L. Case & Company Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Rev. Fr. Todd Arnberg will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, St. Charles.
