Bishop, Mary Ann (Tany), Saginaw, Michigan

Gently passed from this world on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 after a long illness. Mary Ann was a lifelong resident of Saginaw. One of Mary Ann’s many interests was of her Italian origins. She located and reconnected with relatives in Italy and corresponded with them. Mary Ann was active in the Son’s of Italy and volunteered many hours to the Abortion Alternatives of Saginaw. She attended New Life Christian Fellowship Church. She also volunteered with the Neighborhood Watch and the Foster Grandparent program.
She is survived by five children: Linda (Bob) Camburn, Denise (David) LaFaro, Jeffrey (Annette) Maziarz, Michael (Betty) Hodgins, Angela Smith and several grand and great-grand children. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Jack Tany and Mary (Tany) Rossman, siblings Angie McAnany and Jack Tany, and a daughter, Terra Bishop. Following Mary Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planed for her on Friday, January 28 at 11 a.m. at New Life Christian Fellowship Church, 6115 Shattuck Road, Saginaw.
