Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center with her family at her side. Age 81 years. Daughter of the late Casimir and Sophia (Konefko) Shustock, Marceline was born November 8, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Joseph P. Andrews, her loving husband of 62 years, on May 8, 1948. He survives her. Marceline was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7717 Ladies Auxiliary in AuGres and a former member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in AuGres for 26 years. Although Marceline did not work outside the home, she made her life’s greatest accomplishments with her children in scouting, school activities and good works. Next to her family, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, casinos, crocheting and sewing, where she helped make 1000 quilts for the children of underdeveloped countries. Surviving besides her husband Joseph are two daughters, four sons and their spouses, Kristine and William Hartl, Saginaw; Michael and Mary Fran Andrews, Midland; David and Mary Lou Andrews, Saginaw; Kathleen and Troy Moore, Hemet, California; Daniel and Tammy Andrews, Lexington, Kentucky; Dennis Andrews and his fiancée Mollyanna Sheltraw, Saginaw; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren with two angels on the way; her sister, Phyllis Sordyl, Flint; four sisters-in-law, Patricia Andrews, Hodgenville, Kentucky; Patricia Hoerauf, Midland; Kathryn and Conrad Nowicki, St. Helen; Maryellen and Lawrence Slominski, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Marceline was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Peterson. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James R. Carlson will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Andrews wishes cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
