Beloved husband, father, grandfather and special friend passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at his home. Age 69 years. Son of the late Harold (Pete) and Lucille (Genge) Anderson, Jim was born May 11, 1941 in Alma, Michigan. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jim married Ann L. Lisee on October 30, 1976. She survives him. He was a parts manager for Remer Plumbing and Heating for 29 years without retiring. Jim (The Jokester) loved to tell jokes to whomever would listen. He was a member of the Moose and enjoyed bowling, camping, laughing, eating and especially spending time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face. Surviving besides his loving wife Ann are three sons, one daughter and their spouses, Rick and Christi Anderson, Alma; Scott and Therese (Tess) Anderson, Alma; Lisa Fuller, Saginaw Twp.; Brad Anderson, Saginaw; 11 grandchildren; his sister, Judy and Floyd Goodrich, Lake City; his brother, Gary and Gail Anderson, Tempe, Arizona; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sue and Jim Lisee, Saginaw Twp.; a brother-in-law, Rob Lisee, California; several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Clo Lisee. A special thank you to V.N.A. Hospice, Dr. John Bartnik and staff and the 7th floor nurses and staff at Covenant HealthCare Harrison for the love and care they had given to Jim and his family. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Sister Anne Cenci, OP will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Funeral Home where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
