Albosta, Anna Rose, Saginaw, Michigan

Loving mother passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 at St. Francis Home. Age 99 years. The daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Malek) Maciag, Anna was born May 29, 1910 in Poland and came to the United States around 1912. She married Felix P. Albosta on November 24, 1928. He predeceased her September 17, 1969. Anna was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and was employed at Daily Pickle for 32 years until her retirement in 1975.  Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis Sikora of Jackson, Michigan; two sisters, Bernice Rozewski and Rose Flues, both of Bay City; two daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by two sons, Felix A. and Stanley P., a son-in-law, Joseph A. Sikora, a grandson, Timothy Albosta, four sisters and four brothers, Angeline Talaga, Matilda Carlton, Jenny Nadolny, Helen Woloshen, Stanley, John, Walter and Frank Maciag.  Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Joseph Schabel and Rev. Fr. Reginaldo Salcedo will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Rosary and Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Francis Home chapel renovation or Ss.
